Bio

Josh Pedraja began playing the violin at the age of 9. He was inspired to begin to play after attending a violin concert held by his home church. The music by the violinist, created at that concert spoke to him and Josh immediately wanted to learn this instrument.

Josh was actively involved with orchestra from 4th grade all through high school and into college, where he was president of his college orchestra for four years.  Along with playing in the college orchestra, Josh also carried his love of music into education where he studied Music and Education.

After college Josh has continued to play the violin in quartets, trios and solo performances around the Midwest at concerts, recitals, weddings and other events. His joy of playing the violin grows everyday as he plays and teaches his students this amazing instrument.

Josh teaches on average 10-13 students and leads them all in a small chamber orchestra where they perform one concert per year and have appeared at local venues.
